Flame Tree Barbecue seasonal?

We are planning our dining locations for our October trip and recalled that the last time that we were there in October (10 years ago) that Flame Tree was closed. Was that just unfortunate for us or is it only open during certain times of the year?

Ate there in Dec. of 2008. Maybe it was having some work done on it when you were there.

As I recall, it was closed for a couple of weeks sometime around then for renovations.

We went in August 2010, and FTB was closed for renovations. I would guess that was probably the case when you went as well.

Just renovations. It's not a seasonally operating place. Way too popular for that.

Would be heartbroken if FTB was closed during one of our visits!

Our past 7 trips have been in Oct/Nov and it has been open each and every time. Can't go to AK without eating there!!
