New "free" dining rumor for fall 2011

I've heard from a couple of folks, and apparently it's all over some other boards too, that a new "free" DDP offer will be released Wednesday (Aug 3) for the following dates:

October 2, 2011 - October 8, 2011
October 23, 2011 - November 5, 2011
November 13, 2011 - November 19, 2011
November 27, 2011 - December 3, 2011
December 11, 2011 - December 17

Same as it has been - "free" QS for values and regular for moderate and deluxe resorts.

Again, this isn't confirmed and I haven't heard it from any reliable source like MJ (who wouldn't tell me even if they did know since they actually respect their requirements), but since several of you have been asking - there it is.

Hopefully there is an AP rate announced soon for the fall. Good luck to those that can use the free dining.

On one of the other forums they actually included the codes with the rumor but it turned out those codes were from a few years ago. :LOL:

Even if it's true, my dates are not included. Ugh. And was just pricing airfare--this trip just might not happen this year.

So im checking in on october 21st and it doesnt start till 23rd. Does that mean that I will not get free dining those first two days? Or will they let me have it? This is the only discount we have been waiting for! Hmm, might have to change my dates, even though I don't want to.

The discount relates to when you check in. If "free" dining was the best discount for you would need to do room only for your first two days and then start the package on the 23rd or you would need to adjust your dates. You would have to start your package on Oct 23 or later to qualify if this information is correct.

Ive worked it out with Debbie from MJ... "if" these are true dates then we are staying at the GF with 1day ticket dlxdp for Dec 9-11.... then checking in at the BWI from the 11-19 with the free dining (upgrading $33 for the dlxdp).

Based on numbers it will save us only $167 versus paying for dining and staying at the BWI... BUT, we get to stay a few nights at the start of our honeymoon at the GF with a themepark view!!!! so thats well worth it haha

The MJ agents will keep to their contracts and will not confirm or deny any upcoming discounts. Disney makes their policies pretty clear, but it seems some other agencies cause problems by leaking stuff early. BUT, nothing stops you from emailing your MJ agent and saying, "I've heard this rumor. IF this turns out to be true here's what I was thinking." Then IF the rumors turns out the be fact, you've already let your agent know what you would like. But, she won't be able to give you numbers or tell you what kind of savings you might get because she is not allowed to comment on discounts until Disney actually releases them.

Correct... I just gave my agent the heads up of the choices I would like "if" this actually happens to come to light. I found out about this possible rumor on thursday night from some friend on Facebook. Since then i have researched rates and what not and All figures were done soley by me using rack room rates, dining prices and whatnot. Until Disney actually produces the discounts no actual numbers are given to me by anyone at MJ.

Until its offical, nothing is prohibiting you from playing around on the disney site making different reservation scenarios

But at least now we don't have to play email tag when the discount do come up to find out what i want to do... she already knows exactly what my wishes are and will do what she can to get them accomidated

I have to say MJ is like being on in dealing with all this stuff...

Ok cool. I knew they wouldn't go against policy (which is party of why I like MJ so much) so i didn't even know if they would let you talk about it. Nice to know another reason to like MJ. Learn something new everyday.

Numbers are down and the economic forecast is getting gloomier again. Not surprised that they would do this.
