Time to rock n roll!!! I think that this season there will be at least 6 clubs who can win the Premier League! Hoepfully, that club will be Liverpool!!

Spain will be a 2 horse race between Real and Barca. And I'm hoping it's Real this year.

My thoughts go out to all those involved in the riots that occurred in England the past few nights. People are, as Raider has said, idiots. I'm pretty sure supporters of the England squad were miffed about the cancellation of the England-Netherlands match. I would've been.

Be safe out there, everyone! And C'mon, You Reds!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good to hear. Not about the Spurs game of course.

I heard that some of the football "firms" organized in parts of the UK to hold off rioters in their areas, like Millwall and Charlton.

Thats not going to surprise me at all . But i have a feeling now the riots are over now due to the fact there has been a real fightback by people of those towns that were affected .Also there is a large police presence overall as well as the courts have been working 24 hours convicting these idiots.

Lets hope the games begin now and the football can take presedence .

Its going to be a great season in the premiership .....Arsenal look in real trouble now after selling Fabrecas and looks like Nasri is following him

Oof. A 1-1 draw to start out the season. I guess it could've been a loss. I'll take it. Haven't seen the match (cause I'm at work), but tried to follow it as best as possible without getting fired!

Good luck to everyone out there!

If you have any aspirations of winning the title these are games you have to take 3 points. First game of the season is always tough but the Manchester clubs have got through that and claimed their 3 points.

On the whole an interesting first weekend to the season. Still very disappointed that Spurs didn't get to play their game which means our opening game of the season will be next Monday night against Man Utd followed by Man City at The Lane. (How tough a start is this )

Anyway. Here's hoping to an exciting season ahead and let's have a few predictions:

    Champions: Man Utd
Champions League places: Man City, Chelsea, Spurs
    Europa League/5th: Liverpool

This is all depending if Arsenal do not spend any money on decent replacements for Fabregas & Nasri.

I don't like giving predictions, mainly cause they always backfire on me. But I will say that I fully expect Liverpool to be competing for the title at the end of the season. 1 win, 1 draw to start the season is not ideal, but I'll take it. Here's to a great football season for everyone's clubs!!!

Spurs looked good against us Sunday. We looked, well, below average. Let's hope we get this all straightened out quickly. I know it's the beginning of the season, but it's never too early to WIN. I still have faith in King Kenny. It could be worse: Roy Hodgson could still be the gaffer!

    C'mon, you Reds!!!!!

I am surprised that Man U won that match, it seemed like to me that they only played the first 45. When Chelsea came out and scored so soon after the begining of the second half I thought "Hey we might actually have a good Match" but no luck.

I like Manchester United but I would also loved to se a closer match for the excitement.

How can I be upset with you guys? It's football!! Unless you're talking about Spurs themselves. Then I'm TOTALLY upset with you guys!!

You win some, you lose some. I just hope we start winning some soon before it's too late.
