Anyone ever done this? What characters are there? Is it worth it?

This is easily one of the most asked questions...you will find mixed responses.

Pros...Usually it is worth it because the line will not be long and you will meet 1-3 of the follwing characters....Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale, or Stitch.

You will have a longer more enjoyable character experiance. They will spend more time with your family due to the fact that there are not 200 people watching you waiting for you to finish.

Cons....It is somewhat hard to find...Plus you see this group of characters throughout the parks just about everywhere. The odds of your family not seeing one of these characters before you even make it to the Visa Meet n Greet is questionable.

All that being said the pro's outweigh the cons of course...go for it.

Another pro is the free 5X7 picture.

Another pro is that you can do it once a day, so in one vacation you can get multiple free pictures.

Con- the line to view and pick up the picture can be long.

Con- usually when this place opens you have already finished 'doing' future world and so you have to come back from world showcase to get your picture taken.

I think it's worth it since the lines are normally shorter compared to other character lines. The free 5x7 is the best part. You go down to the Kodak store by Spaceship Earth and choose the picture and can even add a border.

Last time we did this, we had a great pic with Mickey, Minnie, & Pluto. They let one group in at a time so you get some good interaction with the characters.

Con: The worst example of violating character integrity at WDW

Con: At the DCA version of the meet, Chip and Dale wear special outfits themed to Hollywood backlot - WDW couldnt do something extra here?

The only characters I have seen there are Mickey, Pluto, Goofy, and Minnie.
It was very interactive because Goofy danced with my DD and Minnie was actually LAUGHING and interacting with us. Mickey and Pluto have too. Pluto is my DS favorite character, so Pluto kept hugging him forever and Mickey would kiss the girls and overall it's a nice experience, because there isn't a really long line... so there is more time for them to interact rather then just having a photo-op. So, it is a great experience, but of course you can pretty much find the characters anywhere else in any of the parks.

Cons; As I said, they are almost in all areas of every park. And, they look the same as in the parks, no special outfits or anything..
