Smile NFL WEEK THREE: are we there yet?

Good evening folks- sorry about the delay in posting this, I was away in pa this weekend. So the late post has nothing to do with the Jets inability to stop the run.

1st off let me say congrats to the Bills & the Lions. Both had come from behind victorys and are now 3 & oh my ! I am just glad the jets arent playing the Pats this week...

OK so we lose. In dramatic defense failing ways. My hat is off to the Raiders they pounded us into submission. And the Jets offense turned it on too little to late (1/2 yard short and 10 points down). Cromarite - what a week, maybe he thought he was still playing under the banner of AFC defensive player of the week. This time though he was the goat. We got out played and beat down.
Sigh. Hopefully we can fix this...

    at least the dolphins lost.
oh yeah, congrats to the giants, swatting down that nasty philly hex. although I will say apparently vick does not get those calls. Maybe the refs just like dogs...
and congrats to the panthers for their 1st win.

Well at least there is next week- where we have a great chance of being pounded by the Ravens...
    Go Jets

    Default Good, Bad, Ugly

Good: Packers win, find a running game

    Bad: Injuries..again!!

    Ugly: Injuries..again!!

The Pack beat the hated Bears. It warms my heart when the Vikings and Bears lose. I like Aikman, even when he played for the Cowboys. Buck is really annoying.

    That was the BAD!!!

CROMARTIE HAD THE WORST GAME EVER!!!! Ughhhh...... Wake up Cromartie. Stupid mistakes that cost the game!!!!!
The JETS have this habit of rallying late, and I will give Sanchez this, he NEVER gives up! It didn't work out this week. Defense was a major problem against the Raiders.
Next up the Ravens. I hope to see a well oiled machine out there Sunday night!!!!

GO BUFFALO!!! Anybody that beat The Patriots and perfect Tom Brady, who was so perfect that he threw a record 4 interceptions. Loved that!!!!
Of course I will not be cheering loudly for Buffalo when I am in seeing them play The JETS on 11/27 (Anniversary gift from my husband great seats too!)

Lions are having themselves a good year. People might actually be excited for them to play their annual Thanksgiving game this year.

Eagles...Hard to watch the beating Vick takes. No personal fouls were given on hard hits he took. I've been able to watch the Eagles the past two weeks because their games were shown in the New York Market (Sunday night game vs. Falcons and playing the Giants...) He is a runner, I get that, but he will not be playing much more unless the Eagles can work on better protection and he works on better communication.

    Indy...Poor Indy.

It's a new week on Sunday! Hoping for a JETS win!!!

    Default Jets

I agree, the Jets just didn't show up this week. Maybe they had a bad flight, but they consistently play awful on the west coast...

Cromartie went from the star to the dog...( and not Pluto)

The WRs didn't get open. An Sanchez had no time.

Yes excuses, but i assumed we had some good WRs this year..

Cowher's waiting for Coughlin to retire/get fired. Could happen after this year. Beating the Eagles was nice payback, but I'm not buying into The Giants just yet.

Its still early in the season. you could still win some games...
But dont count on cowher, i think his kids are attending school in the northeast.

Ok now a question- If the dolphins fire their coach- and cowher is unavailable, who are your top 5 choices for the dolphins head coaching job ?

I only have three I'd like to see on the Phins sideline besides Cowher.

    1. Schottenheimer
    2. Gruden

    and believe it or not

    3. Rob Ryan

We don't know that. The Phins were in talks with him before, and out celebrity-obsessed owner would throw a TON of cash at him.

Actually I do believe that rob ryan would be an excellent Head coach. Just beware, he is as flamboyant as his brother. But a good coach is a good coach.

Did you read the sports illistrated story on the ryan twins.

What got me was the player who said- paraphrasing- that the owners dont get it. players like to play for guys who are up front about things...and both rex & rob have the players respect.
