Sorry to hear your take on Yachtsman. I booked that venue for an upcoming trip as the folks we're traveling with requeted Le Cellier and I was unable to get a booking there. Hope it works out well for us!

I'm always hesitant to be negative, because you never know. Maybe it's just me, maybe an off night. But for us, really, it wasn't working. The steak was very good quality, and cooked right. So that's a plus. It was the extras that were missing for us, or not to expectation, and it's all so subjective. Lots of people do love it there, so maybe if you're interested, still try it and just take it with a grain of salt.

Thanks, Cindy. Still here and having a great time. It's raining hard, so we're delaying our return to Epcot this morning. Getting ready to just throw on the ponchos and do it. I did want to let you know that Yachtsman Steakhouse was a disappointment for us.

Thanks for the review, Sherri. I still haven't booked anything yet except for character meals for the kids. I'll have to think about the Yachtsman. I've been on the fence about it a long time. I've heard you can get some of the food at the lounge, so maybe I'll test that out.

We liked the Yacht Club atmosphere better than the Beach Club's, actually. The Crew's Cup lounge was a nice place to stop for a drink and snack on a rainy day. They were offering a light menu (burger, lobster roll, chowder, salad, snacks), not the same menu as Yachtsman Steakhouse-- though maybe you could have Yachtsman's menu brought over. It felt like more of a place people went while waiting for seating for the Yachtsman, but there were people there just for the drinks/snacks, too. If you're staying at the Yacht Club, it might be nice to just try it out (Yachtsman Steakhouse).
