Default Need Some Suggestions and Ideas

We are heading down the end of January and first week of February and are staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. We have done O'hana's and Boma so many times and now we feel like it is time for something new. I am wanting some suggestions and why you like the place. I was thinking of trying Olivia's at the Key West resort. But like I said, I am up for suggestions and why you like the place. Thanks.

Are you looking everywhere, or just resorts?

Epcot is MY best bet - I have yet to have a bad meal at any of the restaurants around WS.

Personal favorites include Les Chefs De France, Via Napoli, and Rose and Crown!

I have also heard great things about The Wave at the Contemporary, and Kona has AWESOME breakfast (especially the french press Kona coffee!).

We really enjoy Yak & Yeti at AK park. Also Cape May Cafe at the BC. Tokyo Dining is a favorite of my DD.

I'm going to suggest Yak and Yeti also. Asian type food. Check out their menu. For Disney, it's not terribly priced and the service is very pleasant.

On our last trip we discovered Grand Floridian Cafe for both breakfast and dinner. We have always loved Kona and still do, but this has been added to our list of favorites 1C TS restaurants.

We just returned from Disney and we tried Tutto Italia for dinner and really enjoyed our experience. The biggest disappointment was the Crystal Palace for dinner, the selection on the buffet was not very good. Did enjoy the time with Pooh and friends though.

My family is making T-Rex @ Downtown Disney a must visit for next trip. The atmosphere is great if you don't mind noise. They have REALLY good rotisserie chicken!

Raglan Road at Downtown Disney is a big favorite. We also have enjoyed Yak & Yeti, T-rex, the California Grill, and Le Cellier.

Sanaa is one of our new favorites. If you have tried and liked Boma, you might want to give Sanaa a try this time instead.

Kouzzina at the Boardwalk is really good, a little different. Also, Grand Floridian Cafe is one of our favorites.

I also love World Showcase restaurants, our favorites there are Via Napoli, Tokyo Dining, Chefs de France, and Bistro de Paris.

Artist Point at WL, always had good food and excellent service. Same for Narcoossee's (I can never spell it).

Trail's End buffet, good food and off the beaten trail so it doesn't feel as packed as other buffets. I don't know if they still do it, but if you time it right you can take a hayride and see the fireworks over MK. They pipe in the music, it's really quite nice. When we did it there were about 7 of us on the hayride.

Trails end is not doing it any more. Good reason it was bland and horrible. Only about 3 meats and only corn mash potatoes green beans very very limited buffet and cold and bland. We really looked forward to this and it was the worst meal we had all week..They need to rethink that one and do it up right. make a Character Breakfast of Dinner with Woody and the gang..That means good food not hospital level food for people on very strict diets..

We like to spread our dining adventures around WDW. So a typical week would include ressies at The Brown Derby, 50's Prime Time or Sci-Fi in The Studios. At Epcot, LeCellier, Tokyo Dining and Rose & Crown have always been hits. And we like to enjoy a meal at one of the monorail resorts. Cali Grill, Narcoosee's, ect. Whispering Canyon Cafe also deserves a mention.
No need to get stuck in a rut. Trying something new is part of the WDW fun.

We ate at The Wave last year and the food was delicious but a bit pricey.

We also tried Paradiso 37 at DD very good!

50's Prime Time at DHS is always a great time with good food.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. We have decided to try out Portobello's, Sanaa, Olivia's. Kona and Boma for breakfast. Also one night at Boma (just because it is in our hotel). We decided to play it by ear in the parks. We don't mind counter service there. Don't want to schedule our park time around dinner reservations. Heading down this Saturday. We can't wait.
