Personally would choose Tusker House partly because I've done and partly because it is a great way to start the day at Animal Kingdom.

ooh, I can't even pick because they are BOTH terrific! Because I love the photo opportunities, I'd be inclined to pick based on whether you want to see them in their beach gear or in their safari outfits ;-) Maybe it would be more reasonable to decide which location works best for you? If you do Cape May on an Epcot day it is very close - or Tusker on an Animal Kingdom day. Darn, I think I'll have to do both on my upcoming trip!!

I have never been to Tusker House personally because of what was on the menu but I have been to Cape May and thought it was good. We went on the earlier side and it wasn't crowded and I thought the food was pretty good. Cape May is not my favorite place for breakfast though I would have to say Crystal Palace and/or Chef Mickey's are the best.

Tusker house hands down the best breakfast, for food, atmosphere and character interaction of any of them. Would gladly pay the ridiculous price to eat breakfast here, and we always do

Our family actually prefers Tusker House because of what's on the menu. We can get typical American fare anywhere, but can only get the African dishes at Tusker House and Boma. And if you're not adventurous, you can still get "typical American" breakfast items there as well.

    Plus Donald's there!

Our families choice would be Tusker House as well. The juice is delicious and the variety is great! I can't remember the name of the juice but I do remember our server commenting on how much we must have liked it!

We've done both and I prefer Tusker House. I think the food is much better there and it's a fun atmoshphere. I don't know if we hit Cape May on a bad day but I really didn't care for the food. Also, the character interaction wasn't nearly as good at Cape May.

Characters are never guaranteed and can change without warning, but I believe Mickey also appears at Garden Grill, 'ohanas, and Tusker House.

oops -that was weird - I thought someone just posted to this thread asking where Mickey appears. Either they deleted or I'm losing it ;-)
