What are the hot pins to collect and trade at Disney World this year?

I know they released another CM hidden mickey set of the alphabet. Those usually are a really popular set. They are on our target list for Sept/Oct

I was looking online about Disney Pins. I didn't realize they had pins 6-7 years ago, that had pieces of the ride in it..

I was at WDW last week, and the wife looks for them... Didn't notice anything too awesome other than they had ones for the Garden festival.

The fast pass pins were part of the Mystery Packs the ones that are in the black plastic bags with two pins in them, about three years ago. They do not sell those anymore. Wish I still had my extras I had cause I would have sent you some. You can find those almost anywhere for trade though. Most common ones were Soarin and Expedition Everest. If you go to the Pin Stores like in Downtown Disney, their cork board trader section has a million of those. And if you go to the guest services areas in the parks they have huge pin books they will take out and you can trade for them.

yeah DH made it a personal mission a couple years ago to find the COP (w/a piece of the parrot) at the parks and got it from a trader at DTD.

Yeah, i may have to locate one with a piece of 20,000 leagues.. My all time fav ride.

i bought a lot of them when they were out, still have some. although i wish i had kept the 20000 Leagues, that was selling at one time for $100 or more. now pins arent as valuable it seems

I am LATE to the pin trading thing! Just started two weeks ago.

I LOVE it! So fun and an added layer of adventure to the park!

I have several sets I'm working on right now. Some old, some new:

Lunch boxes and thermoses, Tshirts, soda bottles, kites, Little Mermaid sea shells, fish bags with Nemo friends

Have finished a few sets already in just two weeks: princess perfume bottles, orange bird, furry cats, paint cans, bowling pins.

What's NEW and hot: sand pails! I want those really badly! My friend found one last night at MK. I will be scouring property for them.

My dad loves the fastpass and we have all of them now

But my favorites are chip and dale sets, and princess sets..

I have recently(last trip) finished the princess heart set, and have one left on the teacup set.

I have all the seasons sets and a set I think is finished with deserts for chip and dale.

We think we are going in november for a long weekend and my goal is to find some more of the chess pieces from peter pan, and Alice in wonderland, and The rest of the soda bottle set with minnie mickey pluto daisy goofy and donald.

So it's really what ever pins catch your fancy. I always trade for chip and dale set or not.. and sometimes will trade for Tinker bell and stitch

and to above post those are the teacups and soda bottles I am looking for but I only have the minnie mouse soda:/ and we just finished the bowling set, and need one for fluffy kitties

and I have personally finished

the princess set were they have a ribbon with their name under it
the set wher the princesses end up making a circle and snow white is in the middle,
the princess heart set
the chip and dale seasons set, and chip and dale deserts

I am working on soda bottles, need ariel for teacups, the princess fans, aloha chip and dale, post card chip and dale, lolipops, ches pieces, and and these signature pins

my parents have me beat on sets they have 4 books full of completed sets. I have 1 pagelol
