2013 Rates and Packages now available

Disney has released their product for 2013. Package components remain the same. Pricing has increased as expected (it always does).

The dining plan remains unchanged, you still get the refillable mug with. It will be December before all the non-Disney owned restaurants sign on.

I just sent over a quote request for October 2013. This will be my husband's first real trip to WDW. He did go as a kid with boy scouts in like 1983 or something. When it was just Magic Kingdom. He is actually getting excited to go next year.

Has anyone looked at prices for next year and found the week your looking at to show no availability?

DH's family wants to go to WDW Thanksgiving of 2013. We'll be a large group, probably 6 families. I told them as soon as the rates were released I'd look into prices at the different resort levels so that we could begin deciding where everyone would stay. Disney's website is showing no availability at all for that week. This can't be, right? I've tried other weeks of the year, and rooms come up.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I was looking at the Info Central section - it looks like Jan discounts tend to be released at the very end of October. I'm going to be waiting for that too.

We called and were told we can't book our first-second week of Dec 2013 trip until the first week of Aug.

Ok, that's what it is then. I've never tried to book so far out before. With a large group, and surely different budgets, it might take us while to decide where we will stay, if we'll all stay at same resort, and so on. I guess I'll try back in a few weeks. Thanks for the heads up.

Yesterday I called and booked my first ever trip to Disneyland for next July. I'm staying at the Paradise Pier hotel. Spoke to a GREAT CM named Dana and I am excited for seeing DL for the first time
