I'm not sure what you mean by tips.
You can walk to DHS and Epcot and it's quicker than taking the boat a lot of times.
Make sure you go over to the Boardwalk and explore the stores and restaurants and streetmosphere there.
I've been in the pool or hot top later at night and could clearly hear the music from Fantasmic.
Depending on your room, you might be able to see part of Illuminations from your balcony. Picabu is open 24 hours a day.
You can have packages sent back to the resort from the parks providing you aren't leaving the next day. You pick them up in the Gift shop.
The buses can sometimes take a long time so if you have a car and choose to drive to the parks you just show your room key and you don't have to pay for parking.
The ice cream parlor in the lobby area (downstairs) is pretty good. Not as good as Beaches & Cream next door, but not bad.

Yes! That is wonderful information. Thanks so much for posting it. Hopefully someone else will be able to take advantage as well...but not as soon as I -- leaving in 3 hours!
Thank you!

I hope you have/are having a fantastic time. Did I mention how comfortable the beds there are? I want one for my home.

We bought a Heavenly Bed 2 years ago and it is the most amazing bed we have ever had. Another tip is that since they are not on the DDP they do accept AAA discounts at the restaurants.

Not really a "tip", but just so you aren't caught by surprise, they do charge for parking and also a daily resort "fee". The two charges add $30/day to your bill. The resort fee includes 2 bottles of water and internet access, though, so make sure you get your 2 bottles of water since you're paying for them!
Also, Picabu is a 24/7 restaurant, which is handy.
We'll be at the Swan for one night post cruise in a few weeks, and I'm looking forward to trying it out to see how we like it. Got the room free with Starwood points, so it's a win win for us.
