I'm surprised Sabrina from the Cheetah Girls didn't return, since everyone thought she was going to win her season. I would love for Lance Bass to come back to see him compete against Joey Fatone!

The only one that really gives me pause is Pamela Anderson. I couldn't WAIT for her to get voted off, so why bring her back? She didn't even last that long the first time and for good reason.

She's one of the three being voted on for a single spot to enter the competition. She's going against Kyle Massey and Carson Kressley. I'm betting Carson will win.

I tend to agree. There is something about Carson's quirky attitude that people really like.

I can understand the inclusion of most of these, but could do without seeing Bristol Palin competing again.

I would love to see Carson Kressley back on, he was so entertaining. That might actually get me to watch again (the last season was a bust for me).

I'm pulling for Joey Fatone. I had the pleasure of meeting him and chatting with him several times on the DVC Member Cruise (he is a fellow member) last year. Genuinely nice guy and a pretty good dancer.

I would be excited to Helio again if I knew if Julianne Hough would be returning to dance with him. I loved the chemistry they had.

Ah yes, but that's the issue. I'd love to see her return to dance with Apolo.

It will definitely be interesting to see these folks with new partners.

Just saw a list of the "stars" and their partners. I kinda wish they all had to be paired with new partners. Wonder if those that are paired with their original partner will have an advantage over the others. I would think so.

I would think so too. BIG advantage. I'm not liking Shawn being with Derek ( ) or Karina and Apollo. I do think it's funny they put Bristol back with Mark though. I was really hoping to see everybody repaired up. But they didn't, so it is what it is.

But, I have a big issue with the repairings. Not so much that many of them were repaired with their original partner, but mainly Cheryl and Emmit, is WRONG. They won already as a pair. If the show was going to let winning partners be repaired together, then Shawn should be dancing with Mark, not Derek. Having just one repaired winning team is wrong, IMHO.

Well, they couldn't re-pair everyone up, since Cheryl won with both Emmitt and Drew. That's why it's so interesting to me.

I was kind of surprised that Carson didn't win, but talent-wise I guess Sabrina deserves to be there. I'm embarrassed to say that I don't know Louis very well--must not have watched many of the seasons he has been on. Who has he partnered recently?

I don't think he's been on in the last few seasons. I remember his best season (as far as placing) was with Kelly Osborne. Last time he was with Kendra Wilkinson. He's never given a ringer, that's for sure.

Surprised to see no comments after last night's show--actually surprised I watched last night's show, as I've been lukewarm on it for quite a few seasons.

Anyway, two comments:

1. What a pleasure it was to watch Apolo Ohno, Kelly Monaco, Gilles Marini and Emmitt Smith dance again!

2. On the opposite end of the spectrum, I still don't understand why Bristol Palin and Pamela Anderson on on the cast for this one. Bristol may be improved, but neither of them are in the same league. Kirstie Alley looked awkward too.

I watched Beth, and quite enjoyed it.

I'm overall just bummed that they put Tristan with Pamela. I love him, and really want him to get a good partner. It's nice to see Louis back. I like him and have missed him the past few seasons. I think he and Sabrina will go far.
