MNSSHP - Jasmine
Hello!
The BF and I are dressing up as Jasmine and Aladdin for MNSSHP, and I'm starting to get a little nervous about my costume.
I've edited the costume so that an inch of skin is showing, but that everything else is covered. Do you think park staff will accept this, or should I adapt to remove the inch entirely?
All help/opinions are appreciated - the last thing I want to happen is have to readjust when I'm there.
Thanks,
Kati

Hi! I think you will be fine... I've seen other Jasmine's with more skin showing than that, so as long as there's no "plunging" involved, I think you're good!! I'm sure others will be along to give advice, as well...

First of all, I think it would be an issue if they themselves made Jasmine cover up. Honestly, it will not be an issue at all. I have seen women dressed as Jasmine at MNSSHP and their costumes were very accurate and therefore showed a lot of skin! At least your costume calls for the skin....I hate when I see mothers wearing the skimpy princess costumes that should not be so revealing! Have fun at MNSSHP!

lots of jasmines at MNSSHP this year. Though, I will warn you, even the 2nd party of the year was busy. The last one we attended was quiet and park looked dead. This place was hoppin! I was disappointed in the party and we saw very little characters hanging out in the park and therefore the lines to see them were ridiculous. The 7 dwarves line was Outrageous! On a positive note, we brought home 45lbs of candy between the 7 of us. That is a lot of candy! The headless horseman no longer runs. he trots. no more sparks. :-(

I think you will be more than fine! In my younger/skinnier days I wore a pirate outfit with around 3 inches of stomache showing with a big pirate jacket over it, they could've very easily asked me to button my coat but I never even got a second look. Have a great time, the halloween party is one of the most fun events I've ever attended!!!!!

Really? Weird, I was there and I didn't think it felt busy at all (in fact, the longest wait I had for any character was 10 minutes- I met 13 of them).
