    Default Epcot and EMH

For one of our nights in April, Epcot has EMH. If fireworks are at 9 and the park doesn't close to resort guest until 10:30..what in FW would be up and running that night? We would want to do Sorin and the new Test Track.

    Hold on a minute...
On what night in April does Epcot close at 10:30PM?

I only see a 9PM close (and IllumiNations) every night in April.

Epcot attractions would stop letting non-WDW Resort guests into the queue at 9PM.

WDW Resort guests however, would continue to be allowed enter and ride PM EMH attractions until about 11PM.

The PM EMH attractions are traditionally-
    Future World:
    Spaceship Earth
    Soarin'
    Living with the Land
    Test Track
    Mission: SPACE
    The Seas attractions
The Seas with Nemo and Friends
    Journey Into Imagination with Figment
    Captain EO

    In World Showcase:
The American Adventure (limited performances, see EMH Times Guide)
Gran Fiesta Tour with the Three Caballeros-Mexico
    The Maelstrom-Norway
    O Canada!
    Kidcot Fun Stops
Also, most of WS "Lands" will have selected shops and restaurants open.

In general, the later in the evening (PM EMH or regular hours) in the parks, the fewer guests remain.

At Epcot, with the normal relatively early "closing time" of 9PM (and the major draw of Illuminations at that time,) the PM EMH crowds are usually pretty high.

But traditionally, the third and final hour of PM EMH finds the fewest guests in the park that day (except for the very first hour of the day,) so late PM EMH often a good time to ride otherwise busy attractions.

Unfortunately, beginning in Jan. 2013, PM EMH at WDW parks will be dropping from 3 hours to 2 hours in length.

That means that the last hour won't be as "late" as it had been in the past so more guests who stay at the park after regular closing time will still be there during the second a final hour of EMH.

Too bad that they decided to drop that third PM EMH hour.

I dont find EMH PM at Epcot and DHS worthwhile. On my late April/May trips, EMH at Epcot and DHS were very crowded and ended up leaving right away. Too late to be waiting in lines after a long day.
