    Default I'm not on site...report

Morning! I'm here in WDW, staying at the Hyatt Grand Cypress. Nice place, but I won't ever choose to be offsite again. It's a hassle!

Sunday I started my day at MK. We had a mini Intercot meet, and had a blast! So good to see you Cindy, Christine and Maria (and families) we had some rain, but didn't let it dampen our spirits. After a fun, full day, I headed to Epcot to switch my paper AP for one of the net RFID ones. It took all of 3 mins, and now I'm not standing in those crazy long lines!

Yesterday I spent most of my day doing the shows and attractions in DHS that I usually skip and had a great day. I got to see the cowboy scene on
GMR, saw the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular, Muppet Vision 3D and then watched some of the street performances. Such a fun day!

Today I think I'm off to see the critters st AK. I'll sit and quietly contemplate the remaining days of my trip with some lunch at the Flame Tree Grill...

Here's hoping no one asks to sit with you while you contemplate.

I'm enjoying your tweets, and thanks for reporting.

It was so much fun. I"m glad we could all meet up. Have a great day at AK. It is one of my favorite parks to just take in the scenery.

Back 'home' after an interesting day. Woke up, got ready to head to AK, and realized I didn't have my debit card. Panic ensued, as did a total tossing of our room. I called the bank (and my mom in tears) then set out to retrace my steps. It was at the first place I looked, so I called the bank and confirmed there were no pending charges so its good now!

After the morning stress, it was off to AK. I had a great day (rode EE 6 times) and can confirm that the Yeti is still down. I spent a lot of time people watching...my favorite WDW pastime.

We went to eat, then hung out at DD for a while and are back in the room now. Tomorrow may be MK in the morning, with another Intercot mini meet at Epcot tomorrow!

It felt so wrong not to have to communicate with you about this! Hated it!

So happy to be missing our snow. Stupid 'Spring!'

I will have a slushie for you...maybe more than one!

It sounds wonderful. Your so lucky to know so many people from here that a "solo" trip has a lot of meet time.

What do you find difficult about staying offsite?

I just feel very removed from everything. The resort isn't far, but I still feel like I'm really far away! Plus I hate driving to MK. That parking situation is a nightmare!

Yesterday was another busy day. Started in MK. Took pics of the new Monsterail (so cute!) than headed to Tomorrowland. Did Buz, CoP and the Peoplemover. Had lunch at Cosmic Ray's, then just wandered around soaking in the sights.

Epcot was the destination for the evening. Had another little Intercot meet (good to see you Debbi and Renee!) then I had to run to get my friends from the hotel. They got after 4 passes, so we wandered WS for the evening. Very relaxing!!

Today is a 3 park day. I just left DHS (TSMM and ToT twice each) and am heading back to Epcot via the boat. I can see YC/BC..can't wait to stay in the area in Jan! Then this evening I'm ending my park time at MK!

Yesterday was my last park day. I spent the morning at DHS, just revisiting some favorites. Then I took the boat to Epcot and had a great
conversation with the captain about all the strangeness he sees. Our example...woman gets on the boat at BC/YC. Rides across the lake to BW, gets off and asks where the walkway to Epcot is. We were so confused! Why didn't you walk from BC!? He was fun to talk too, and quickly I was at Epcot.

I only had one goal for Epcot, try the shrimp and grits. Holy cow, was that yummy!! I lingered a while, taking in my favorite park, taking some pictures before heading back to the boat.

I took an evening break, then headed back to MK to see the new castle show (loved it!) and to see wishes. I loved the show as always, but don't love
the rude guests that come along with it. I had
my spot on Main Street all staked our for about an hour before. Literally 60 seconds before it started, this guy stands right in front of me and puts his 12 year old on his shoulders. She was taller than I am! He ignored all of our pleas to put her down, so my view was really limited, which stunk. I left a few mins early (since I couldn't see) and got on the first ferry out. I was back to our room around 11 and asleep shortly after.

Today we check out and head for the Gulf Coast. Can't wait to have my toes in the sand!!

Guess the 12 year old had a good view of Wishes!! Really - some folks are so considerate and some folks are so not!!

Still, it sounds like you had lots of fun!!
