    Default Annual passes

Is it worth buying the parking with the pass?
Are there ways around it or do u have to
Park on property or pay a fee elsewhere?

There are lots of variables that go in to answering this question.
Will this be for day visiting or visits while staying at a nearby hotel? If you are visiting for the day the Disneyland lots are really the only sensible parking spots to use. You could park at a distant lot for a neighborhood store, such as Target, but then how will you get to the park? It could be a long walk. If you are staying at a hotel you may already be close enough to walk or your hotel may provide shuttle service. There is also the option of Anaheim Resort Transportation, however you will pay per person for this convenience.
How many times a year do you estimate you would visit? If you are planning on using the Disneyland lots less than 10 times a year you might want to just stick with pay as you go. A parking add-on to an annual pass is about $130.00. Daily parking is $15 for regular sized vehicles.
What annual pass were you interested in purchasing? Premium already includes parking. The Deluxe gets up so close to the Premium price once you add parking that you may want to just consider purchasing the Premium pass to enjoy the additional discounts. Both Southern California passes may be worth the price of adding on if you will visit often.

We are moving to OC. So we will be there as much as possible. Would it be best if we bought one pass with parking and another without?

A lot just depends on what level pass you are going to get.

The premium has no block out days. The deluxe is good, but quite a few Saturdays are blocked out as well as holidays.

I have the premium pass. I find it is worth it for several reasons. No block out days... No out of pocket for parking,.. Better discounts... Because of the block out days of the other passes, I find it busier on Sundays when most passes are not blocked out. Saturdays are better as it is the premium that are valid all the time and the deluxe most of the time.

I don't live in OC, but in the San Fernando Valley. We still manage to go most Saturdays. If you don't plan to go on Saturdays, the deluxe may be the way to go with one premium for the parking and better discounts.

If you will live that close and think that you may be going often at least one Premium might be the way to go.

This is how we do it:

There was a time when our kids were little when all of us had Premium. We always went as an entire family, usually for several days at a time so that worked best with no blockout days to worry about. Premium prices were more affordable way back then as well.

Now that everyone in our household is an adult and we don't always go as an entire family, I carry the one Premium and use it for the parking and the dining & merchandise discounts. I go more often than the others so I've always been the Premium carrier. The others get along with Southern California Select, but I'm usually along with whoever decides to go so that covers the parking, etc. About five months in to his pass year DH upgraded to Deluxe because of a week long trip we are planning, but as a general rule we fit our visiting days together in to his blockout calendar.

    Sorry. Kind of rambled.
