Default Ever change resorts last minute?

I know I can check ADRs every day and there are bound to be changes. But how often do people ever cancel/move their resort?

We booked super late (money came thru last week) at Saratoga for next month. We really wanted Board Walk or Beach Club. They put us on a waiting list but I'm trying not to be hopeful it could change.

I've changed the week before. That's very rare, but it's happened. The big problem with changing resorts last second is the discount you already have locked in at one resort might not apply when you change.

Some people might cancel altogether when the money is due- if they have a package.

We booked with vacation points. If we get BW or BC we will just have to forfeit a couple of points.

When is the final bill usually paid? We've already passed the cancellation without fees point for us.

I believe payment in full on packages is 45 days. It's a mute point though being you're on points because they're separate inventories. Keep checking with MS or online. A few years back we did have a waitlist clear for BWV in August at 7 days out.

I do it all the time. I'm indecisive.
