Stayed at the Swan- and loved it!

My family and I have loved staying on property at WDW and we've been a frugal POP family until early this year. Due to a cheer thing, we had to stay at the Swan and honestly we kinda dreaded it. After staying at the Swan for 4 nights- we love the Swan. Not that we wouldn't trade it for the Poly or Grand, Contemp. but compared to the POP it was great. We did stay at the POP for the last 3 nights of our trip and we were really disappointed at the great and friendly service we receieved back in 2008- the last time we were at POP. We had our first customer service issue this time...
Just wanted to put that out there.

While some would consider the Swan a non-Disney hotel, you're so close to the magic that I think it would be lovely. So glad you enjoyed your stay there! While your stay at POP sounds a bit less than magical, it still sounds like you had a great trip. Thanks for reporting!

I've never felt that the Swan or Dolphin were less magical. I'm glad you enjoyed your time there and sorry for the issues you had at POP.
