Looks like big discounts at Summer Bay Resort! That is if you don't mind staying in a sinkhole!

Did you mean "deep" discounts.?! (Sorry, couldn't resist)

This is actually quite scary, especially with that instance over in the Tampa/Brandon area a few months back.

DW showed me the story online. The tag line said "Sinkhole AT Disney World". Nimrods!
Yes, sinkholes are lame and can be very dangerous. I hope they don't hurt anyone, but "journalists" who exaggerate headlines to sell ads, they just <snip>.

I thought the same thing. Can those sink holes be predicted? Wasn't most of WDW built on or over a swamp?!

FL is essentially one gigantic sponge. Sinkholes are EVERYWHERE.

Exactly! A friend of mine in Jville told me this morning, "oh, it happens all the time" like it's nothing. I don't think these things can be predicted, and they can happen anywhere...not just WDW.
I guess if I want to retire to Florida I'll just have to live with the possibility...much like people who live in CA live with the earthquake situation.

Right under the Speedway would be perhaps the best place it could happen on property....
Turn that into a second "mine coaster."

Summer Bay is actually a huge resort. I wonder if they will be testing all areas of the resort.
