Lightbulb Accommodations - GF vs Contemporary

Hi! We are planning a trip with our 2 year old and cant't seem to decide between the Grand Floridian's Standard Garden View or the Contemporary's Park View Tower. We are leaning towards the Contemporary for the opportunity to see the fireworks while our little one sleeps. Your input. Would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi and Welcome to Intercot!
Hopefully you will get many more responses with a variety of opinions. The GF is very nice and is more quiet. The Contemporary has a lot more activity and noise due to Chef Mickey's and the Monorail. They are both really fun but I would pick the option that allows me to see the fireworks at night. I think your 2 year old might enjoy all the activity in the Contemporary. And one more plus is that it is a short easy walk from the Contemporary to MK!
You won't be sorry with either choice so don't worry too much over this. Enjoy your trip and hopefully you will post a trip report to share your experience.

I would pick the GF. The Contemporary is great but it feels sorta "hotelish". The Grand Floridian resort has a much grander feel, plus it's just a short monorail ride to the MK !!

Don't forget the great new Alice In Wonderland themed splash-ground for the little ones. That may be very enjoyable for a 2 year old. We've stayed at both and love both. At the end of the day, we are partial to the GF though.

The GF is my absolute favorite and I'm hard pressed not to recommend it. But. With a little one, you can walk to the MK and back from the Contemporary and that seems like an enormous advantage over waiting for the monorail or boat. Plus, the park view is pretty great. I can see why it's a tough decision.
