    Question "The Grey Stuff"?

We are eating at Be Our Guest for the 1st time tomorrow and was wondering if anyone has tried "the grey stuff" and what it is. Can't wait

At dinner in December it was on top of a cookie like thing and the taste reminded me of cookies and cream I believe.

I haven't had it, but I've heard that it's like a chocolate mousse with more of a cookies and cream flavor to it. Enjoy!

I believe they now have a Grey Stuff cupcake. Probably better than eating the grey stuff plain.

The Grey stuff is an Oreo Cookie flavored frosting... I heard they stopped it and reserved it for special occasions, and more recently heard reports of a "cookie bar" type dessert and cupcakes.

    They say it is delicious!

The cupcake is called Thee Master's Cupcake. It is chocolate cake topped with the gray stuff. $3.19

Tried the cupcake with Grey Stuff icing and filling (The Master's Cupcake) in January. Check out the picture of it on the INTERCOT Facebook.

It was good, but not sure it would make one of my "top ten" Disney desserts.

The new gray stuff is very good, however, they changed the recipe since opening. I was fortunate to be able to eat there at a special preview during a MNSHW and we were given the wonderful advice to ask for the gray stuff! They brought out a wonderfully decadent mouse on a plate with chocolate powder stencil that said it was the gray stuff! It was amazing, and FREE! (granted the dinner set me and my DW back about $125!!!)
Back in February of this year, I was able to return and had the Master's Cupcake during lunch. While it was good, it was not on the same level as what we had during the preview.

Try it, the song does not lie!

DH and I had a nice big serving of the Grey Stuff for our anniversary dinner in December.

It was complimentary for our celebration, and I was surprised at the large serving they gave us after reading on here that many people got just a small sampling of it. It really was delicious! They even offered to bring us more, but we were stuffed.

It was a cupcake when we were there on Nov1 last year - it was, in fact, delicious.

Haven't been there myself but my parents told me it's cookies and cream mousse with edible pearls
