    Default CocoCay

We are taking a RC cruise to Bahamas, with a day at their private island, CocoCay. There are lots of activites to sign up for, and I'd love to get input/feedback from any of you that have been there. We love fun and adventure, but don't want to throw money away!

Family of 4- kids 10/13. We LOVE LOVE snorkeling, kayaking, waterslides, etc.

Kayak adventure/snorkel combo package? My kids have their own snorkel gear.

    Aqua park/water slide combo package?

    Thanks in advance!

Are you telling me that Royal Caribbean charges extra to visit a waterpark on their own island?

I get the snorkeling/boat and other rental related things costing money, but the waterslides?

Evidently that is correct. $22 for all day access.

Also $14 to rent a floating beach mat for the day. I'm thinking we might bring our own if we really want one that badly.

    Such a racket!

I may be too late in answering this... but I took a cruise with RC and had a stop at Coco.. we did the jet ski excursion. I am NOT a swimmer. I was terrified the whole time we were out there. I thought we would just skim along the banks and such.. but nooooo.. we went full speed straight across the open ocean. I was riding with my husband who had never driven one before. Was NOT a good experience.. at the time.. BUT.. looking back.. minus the fear and terror and thinking I would die at any given moment.. it might have been fun.. We had a very large ray swim right under our jet ski. that was cool. and it was beautiful... but honestly.. the best time I had on their island was just laying in one of the hammocks.. which cost NOTHING!
    For Narnia! And for Aslan!
