The Festival of the Lion King will return on Sunday, June 1st with hourly shows daily. The performances are now in the new Harambe Theatre located in the Africa section of the park.

FotLK opens today... Pictures have surfaced online of the now completed area... I have to say, the area looks fantastic... Fits right in with the rest of the section of Harambe.... Well done!!!!
Now, waiting to hear if anything with the show changed...

I watched it online... Looks the same... Better lighting though... I don't think anything changed (removed or added)

Same Show
It's the same show. People I viewed it with noticed some subtle changes, but it looks and sounds the same as always. We needed FP to view it yesterday. The queue was longer than capacity so FP are highly recommened.

We saw it on opening day as well. The new area is fantastic and makes Africa much less congested. The show was the same as others have stated.
