We didn't need to use a fast pass at Epcot. Can we get a new one at MK once time expires or are we stuck because we didn't use it?

That's what I was always told but there have been reports here to the opposite...

Edit: disregard, it looks like even Disney's website is now officially stating "After you use all of the initial FastPass+ experiences on the day of your visit (or your arrival windows have passed), you can select one additional FastPass+ experience to use that same day (based on availability)."

Yeah, I've heard you have to use the initial 3. There's been a few issues where people who's MB didn't scan and were waved through due to system problems, couldn't select a 4th because the system thought it was unused.

It seems that we may not know for sure for awhile. It would be nice to have an answer either way.

Honestly, it seems like you're at the mercy of the CM right now. You cannot book the 4th on your own and must go to a kiosk. There have been reports of people being able to do it, but there have also been reports of people who were told "No, sorry, all FPs must be USED." Seems like it's something that needs to be worked out/clarified amongst the CMs.
