It is a great resort! Beautiful, quiet, everyone very friendly. We were there for 8 nights and did not hear any noise from other rooms or in hallway at night.
Did not eat at resort but several choices.
The room was very nice with comfortable beds and great pillows.
Getting into SoG is like trying to get into a military base. We had friends with a car and without us in the car they couldn't just come by to pick us up. No entrance without military ID.
The bus service was a little confusing at times. The monorail was down a lot and getting to MK and Epcot was not easy for guests that did not understand the other options. We did not ride a bus from a park home at night. Could not figure out where the buses were or if the park even had one. Late nights were also confusing- not sure what time last bus was on very late nights. The CM's that direct you to buses at night were not able to answer our questions- one told us to walk from Poly at midnight ( we had no idea where to walk from). Luckily we were able to get a bus from TTC after taking bus to a monrail resort.
I would stay at SoG again- great value for your money. It is like staying offsite even though you are in the middle of WDW.
