20th Anniversary Ideas
My DH and I are celebrating our 20th anniversary at Disney this August. We have been there for many anniversaries but we never actually spent the day alone. This year we are spending the evening alone and I am need of suggestions on how to make the night memorable, fun and romantic.
Been there, done that...CAN'T WAIT...going back!
1971 (YES, 71...tour the trailers that housed the miniatures of the rides, resorts and property), 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 09, 11, 12, 13, 15, 18, 19 and soon....20!

How about a special meal? Victoria and Albert's comes to mind. It's not only a special meal, it is truly a dining experience. I don't know if they still do it but I also understand you could arrange a private dining experience - complete with butler on a balcony or some other place on Disney property.
You could book a carriage ride for two.

Obviously a special meal is in order. Something else you could do is to contact Disney Floral and Gifts, and look at some of their packages. I did this for our 18th, and it was a lot of fun!

Being that it will be August when you go, this may or may not be the best idea due to Florida Summer Temperatures, but here it goes -
1) Book dinner at Wilderness Lodge - ideally around 7 PM
2) Book a Carriage Ride at Ft Wilderness - ideally around 6:30 PM and see if the driver will end your carriage tour near the end of the nature trail by Wilderness Lodge.
3) After dinner has been enjoyed, head to the Wilderness Lodge Beach, grab a beach chair and kick back and watch the Electric Water Parade that should swing by around 9:35 PM.
4) Catch a boat launch to either the Contemporary Resort or to the Magic Kingdom and then hop on either Monorail or another boat launch to the Poly!
5) At the Poly, grab a Dole Whip at the Pineapple Lanai (closes at 11pm) or your favorite appetizers/libations at Trader Sam's Grog Grotto (closes at midnight).
6) If everything works out right, you might even be able to catch the MK fireworks from the Poly beach. Depending on the day, they could start anywhere between 8 and 11 PM.
Bring bug repellent incase the mosquitos are bad on the trail ride. Dress nice, but in light clothing. Relax and have a great time!
It is my dream to one day pilot the monorails around the Seven Seas Lagoon....where's my star!!!

Renew your vows
Renew your vows at the rotating restaurant in "The Land". We did that one year and it was so very fun and a great memory.

I don't think they do that any more.
