    Default "Year of the Monkey" Celebration at the Nine Dragons Restaurant in Epcot

    Just received an email from Tables in Wonderland:

    In celebration of the upcoming Chinese “Year of the Monkey,” Nine Dragons Restaurant in Epcot will be offering special menu items, as well as a new prix fixe lunch menu February 1, 2016 through February 29, 2016.

    Lunch Special: $17.98 per Guest (TIW will apply)

    Choice of Appetizer
    • Vegetable Spring Rolls (2)
    • Potstickers (2)


    Choice of Entrée
    • Happy Family: Sliced Chicken Breast, Beef, and Shrimp stir-fried with Vegetables served with Steamed Rice
    • Moo Goo Gai Pan: Sliced Chicken Breast stir-fried with Mushrooms and Snow Peas served with Steamed Rice
    • General Tso’s Chicken Buns Lunch Box: (3) General Tso’s Chicken Buns and a bowl of Hot-and-Sour Soup

    Kind of surprised, (and bummed), that Buddha's Delight is not being offered. It is traditionally served on the first day of, (or sometimes the eve of), Chinese New Year. It's also vegetarian, which the entrée menu is lacking.
