free dining in October 2016

Does anyone know what weeks are typical for free dining in October. I'm really flexible on dates but would like more towards the end of October.

In 2015, the free dining dates were 8/28 -> 10/2 and 10/25 -> 10/31. In 2014, the dates were 8/31 -> 10/3 and 10/26 -> 11/1.

Given Disney's recent promotion of one free quick service meal per day if you pay full price for your room, I'm not sure what they might offer later in the year.

Im not sure about the free dining offer dates but we were there September 2015 and we had a bounce back offer for free dining which we booked before we left.

I was wondering if anyone who is currently at the World or just returned from there saw anything in their room for the free dining bounce back offer for 2017?

Based on those dates from last year, IF they offered it again this year, what do they do if your trip starts during free dining, and all of your trip is during it except the last 3-4 days?
We are going for 12 days.

In the past - which with Disney, is no predictor of the future - if your stay began while the free dining promotion was valid, you entire stay would qualify. So checking in on the last day of the promotion would get you free dining for the whole trip. We actually did that once. Flip side, if you check in the day before the promotion started, you got nothing.

I seem to recall one year where they didn't follow those rules; could be wrong about that though.
