Be Our Guest Lunch...Still FastPass?
Hello!!
I booked a trip this week!!! We are going back to WDW in HOT HOT August.... Question... when we were there last November, Be Our Guest had some system where you had to get a lunch reservation like you do to reserve a fast pass.
Is this still how it is done?
Thanks in advance.

As far as I know, you have to have an ADR for lunch. No more walk ups at all.

Reservations only, FastPass system is no longer in operation for BOG.

It is a bit of a quirk, in that lunch is still a quick-serve meal, even though it needs an ADR.
Like before though, you can pre-order your meal 30 days in advance, although you don't have to.

I had no idea about this until I found out that I can use the free QS meal that comes with our June trip. I was very happy to get an ADR for this! I've never eaten there...

Can someone please help me understand why BOG is so popular?
I haven't been to WDW since it opened but I've read all about how popular it is and still can't figure out why.
I doubt I'll give it a try on our next trip. Just curious what is so special.

BOG's lunch choices are delicious and the atmosphere is very enjoyable. Our favorites are the turkey sandwich and the roast beef sandwich. We just booked our April trip, and surprisingly were able to make ADRs for lunch on one of our dates. I never expected to find availability only 2 months prior to our trip. BOG lunch has become a "must do" for us.

It's the atmosphere, very pretty inside. The food is good too. Especially the desserts, and soups.

Then I guess I'll have to give it a try for the atmosphere someday. 😀
