Thumbs up New ‘Paint The Night’ Parade Dining Packages Coming to Disneyland Park

from the Disney Parks Blog; posted on November 20th, 2015

New dining packages with reserved viewing for the new “Paint The Night” parade will be available beginning January 11, 2016, at Disneyland park.

At Blue Bayou Restaurant, the dining package includes a three-course meal. Viewing for the Blue Bayou Restaurant “Paint The Night” parade dining package will be located on Main Street, U.S.A.

With a choice of three entrees, Aladdin’s Oasis dining package will give guests the option of taking their meal to-go or enjoying it in the Aladdin’s Oasis seating area. Parade viewing for Aladdin’s Oasis “Paint The Night” parade dining package will be located near “it’s a small world.”

Reservations for both “Paint The Night” parade dining packages will be available soon.

This is good news. Switching these dining packages during the time that Fantasmic! will be off of the entertainment schedule is an easy fix for guests looking for a show without sitting for hours to secure a spot. I am anxious to hear where the Blue Bayou/Main Street viewing spot will be, specifically, and whether or not it will be chair seating. I am assuming it will be. I am guessing that the Aladdin's Oasis reserved seating will be the same location as the reserved Christmas Fantasy Parade seating, near the beginning/end of the parade route - seated in chairs - facing it's a small world.

This is actually pretty cool. My biggest pet peeve of parades is having to stake out a spot and waste time. We may try the Aladdin's Oasis meal if the menu will work for my picky kids.

Has anyone done this? How was it? Any more details?

Some of our members did it last week. They ate at Blue Bayou. Said the parade viewing area was in a good spot. Maybe they will chime in here.

Yes we are ate the Blue Bayou but we did not have the package for the Paint the Night package. I hurt my knee and was in a jazzy(long story) and they had us in a wheelchair area between Matterhorn and pixie hollow. Sorry this isn't the answer your looking for. But on a side note, Paint the Night is AMAZING.
