Thanks for the reminder
Do I turn the clock back at 2am to 1am or do I turn the clock back at 3am to 2am?

Spring forward, so at 2AM it's 3AM and you've already lost an hours sleep!

I also appreciate the reminder...while I love spring arriving - losing an hour of sleep & the time change effect non my toddlers schedule is not worth it.

Summer solstice is around June 21 (could be the 20), winter is December 21 (or 20 depending on the year).

They are the first day of summer and first day of Winter. The solstices are what determines when those seasons begin and as stated they are around June 21 and December 21.
I tried a different approach this year. I just never adjusted to standard time. I kept going to bed at what would be the same time when we went back to DST. I never shifted the hour. So this morning, I was awake 15 minutes before the alarm clock went off, waiting. lol
When are we finally going to end this madness of shifting the clocks back and forth anyway? It is just plain stupid.

I agree that it might be stupid to manipulate the clock in this day and age. That said, I really have never had a problem adjusting to the time change. It's not like major jet lag--it's just one hour, no big deal. Honestly, I really just like the light coming at the end of the day instead of the beginning.

Losing an hour is easier for me to adjust to than gaining. Maybe I'm the oddball out on that one. I too wish we'd simply let it go.
