One Day on Disney Property

We are spending 8 days in Florida which includes a condo rental in Indian Shores and 1 day at Universal. Our last day will be spent on Disney property. We have breakfast planned with Lilo and Stitch and then will resort hop and shop at Downtown Disney. I was wondering if there was anywhere you can see Wishes without being in Magic Kingdom, and if there is anything else off the parks we shouldnt miss. We'll be there August 7th.

There are many places to watch Wishes outside of the park. You could try the 4h floor observation deck at the Conemporary, the beach at the Polynesian, or the quick service location at The Grand Floridian. Recently, others have suggested the ferry area of the Ticket and Transportation Center.

Faline spelled it all out for you. And all of these places are easy to access & are free. Just to give you another option - you could see if the Pirate & Pals Cruise or the Ferrywishes dessert parties are going on that day. We have done the Pirate & Pals Cruise and it was the best way we have ever viewed Wishes in or out of MK. Both include some snacks & desserts as well as non alcoholic drinks. Enjoy your FL trip.

ALso the beach at Fort wilderness is a great place.

Thanks everyone for the tips. I would love the Pirate cruise but budget won't allow this year so we will find a free spot. Can't wait for this trip.

Simple & free - I would recommend eating/snacking at Gasparilla Grille at GF and enjoying the view from there or a personal favorite of mine - grabbing a Dole Whip at the POLY & watching from there. Both can be accessed from TTC via monorail and the POLY can even be accessed via foot path if you are so inclined. Fort Wilderness is also a good view but a little more obscured & a little more complicated & time consuming to reach.
