Scoop was one of the Citizens of Main Street, along with the Mayor, the Fire Chief, the Socialite, the Suffragette, and a few others. Scoop was the reporter for the Main Street Gazette. He often appeared separately from the others. What brought fame to Scoop was that for many years, he was the resident expert on all things Disney Pins and Pin Trading. He would play pin trading games, teach pin trading etiquette, and for a long time did the "1 O'Clock Pin Talk" where he would talk about the manufacturing process, trivia about limited edition pins, etc., and would usually have some really unusual pins to show (and occasionally give away). So all the pin traders knew him and loved him. He got of out the pin trading side a year or so ago but continued to be popular because he was really warm and friendly with the guests, and tended to remember those of us who visited repeatedly. He is certainly one of the most engaging of the Citizens, and not the one I would have cut if it were me making the decisions.
