Hall of Presidents Re-Opens December 19, 2017 at Magic Kingdom park
The Magic Kingdom has announced that the Hall of Presidents will re-open December 19th after a longer than originally announced closure:

Just have one question, who the heck is that supposed to be?? IMO looks nothing like him, people are mentioning a John Voigt likeness and I tend to agree.
Sorry Disney, not cool. Maybe instead of spending all your money buying up TV/movie companies you could turn some of your focus back to the parks and hire people that can actually do their jobs.....but I digress.

It looks absolutely nothing like him. It took this long and turned out that bad? They might as well just shut it back down and try again. That is pitiful.

Am I the only one who almost never thinks these figures quite look like the real person? I thought that was a given and never expected it to.

I am glad it is re-opened, the closure was getting silly.

Well, I was just missing Morgan Freeman's voice. I like the new video.. But no Freeman??? It's like changing James Earl Jone's voice or something.

We finally got to see it over Christmas week and we really enjoyed it. I think it pays better when you’re in the auditorium. Even my kids liked it where they used to complain about the old show. Give it a try!

I actually watched it twice over Christmas week, one without/with our DCP DS.
We all enjoyed the presentation and since we sat toward the back of the theatre, there was no discernible issue with the sculpt from that distance.
The audience acted as I expected, quiet and attentive during the show with moderate applause at the end.
Very happy to have this show back!
