Extra Playtime

To accommodate expected attendance increases at Disney’s Hollywood Studios with the opening of Toy Story Land, the park’s hours are being adjusted for July 2018. After the Grand opening on June 30th; the park will offer a Morning Extra Magic Hour daily for the full month of July 2018. Also in July, Evening Extra Magic hours are scheduled on Fridays from 10 pm till Midnight.

Epicurean Expansion

The Magic Kingdom has quietly announced that one of its Seasonal locations has now been added to regular, daily operation. Tortuga Tavern has been announced to now be “open year-round” and will feature menu items such as Turkey Legs, Chipotle BBQ short rib, and All-Beef Hot Dogs.

Awesome Meet & Greet Vol. ?

Character Cast have reported the end of operation for a current Marvel Character Meet & Greet at Diney’s Hollywood Studios. The Star-Lord and Baby Groot character Meet & Greet will reportedly cease regular operation in Late Summer 2018. A replacement for the “Walt Disney Presents …” space has not yet been reported.

A runD full Life

Disney Springs has unveiled a large selection of the new runD clothing line. Tren-D has added a line of women’s running apparel inspired by Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Maleficent, Cheshire Cat, and Stitch with pieces priced from $25 to $75 each.

Green with Interactivity

Character Cast have reported that Toy Story Land will bring new levels of interactivity to some of the characters from the Toy Story films. Cast have reported that a new troop of Green Army Men will debut with the new land and will be able to fully interact and converse with Guests.

I’m A Real Buffet

Dining Cast have reported that a new service style is being planned for a popular Magic Kingdom counter service location. Pinocchio Village Haus is reportedly preparing to offer Gepetto’s Village Haus Buffet in place of its current Dinner Counter Service. The new dining option would reportedly include a buffet of quick Italian dishes like Flatbreads, Pasta Alfredo, Baked Ziti, Chicken Parmesan, and a dessert buffet including Italian Cakes and Cannolis. The price point has been reported as $22 per Guest Ages 10 and Up and $12 per Guests Ages 3 – 9. The Counter Service Lunch service has not been reported to be affected by this planned change.
