    Cool

I'm not going to post a complete report because so many other folks were there and I want to give them something to talk about too.

I thought I would give you a few of the highlights of this past weekend, though.

Saturday was an MGM day and both Janetmojo and I made appearances in the MGM hot seat. Unfortunately neither one of us made it very far with Janet missing the 8,000 point question and myself missing the 16,000 point question. But we both made it and did Intercot proud!

The meet on Saturday night was fun. We all hung out by the Contemporary pool (except JPL who sat upstairs and watched the Devils lose!) until around 9 or so and then we dropped our cars off at our respective resorts and bussed it over to PI. We hit Adventurer's Club and made token stops in 8-Trax and Rock-n-Roll Beach Club before going outside to enjoy the New Years celebration. In attendance were Patricia, Jeff, Skuttle, Amy, Janetmojo, and yours truly. Unfortunately we were all pretty wiped from traveling the day before so we called it an early night and left around 12:30.

Sunday we went to MK and hung out there most of the day then went to Epcot later on for some pin trading. We followed that up with a visit to Beaches and Cream for some lunch/ice cream. Later we headed back to Epcot for some rides and a viewing of RoE. We all enjoyed some churros and margaritas while we watched from the Mexico pavilion!

Monday we all gathered at AK for breakfast at Donald's Breafastosauraus. This was the biggest group we had assembled with Imalismom and family finally getting in from their rain-soaked trip. After breakfast we headed over to the Lion King show and did the safari together. We split up after that with some of us going for a ride on Kali River Rapids and Dinosaur before hitting MK for the rest of my final day.

At MK were Janetmojo, mktiggerman (Rob), Fantasmic (Amy), myself and my brother. Rob showed us around and gave us the general VIP treatment, as did Jordan at the Haunted Mansion. Many thanks from the rest of the crew to those two for making our day a great one!

Unfortunately that's all I can report because I am now home. ( ) But I'm sure all the others will fill us in when they get back.

    Come on Saturday !

Okay ... How about I give you a heads up on some of the inside jokes that will be coming back with everyone.

Patricia's new user name is now Patriciatripsalot. She must have fallen down like 5 times in the 3 days I was there!

Janet embarrassed all of us on Millionaire when she told the host she was "here with a bunch of people I met on the Internet." Of course the whole audience turned and stared at us to see the freaks! Janet's new username is Janettalkstoomuch!

If you check out my sig file you can see that I have added some new akas next to my name. When I made it in the hot seat one of my questions was "What is an ornophobe afraid of?" One of the choices was fish which just got me laughing hysterically because I am afraid of fish. The host asked me why I was laughing and I told him and of course everyone made fun of me the rest of the time calling me "The Fish Phobe"!

Also ... John made up business cards for all the mods to hand out to people. Of course (my luck) mine was the only one with a typo on it! My first name was spelled "Iam" instead of "Ian", so my card read like "I am Mitchell" which is true but weird.

Naturally everyone made fun of me and called me Iam for the rest of the trip.

For those of you who haven't seen the new warning labels that are in all the ride vehicles now that tell guests to remain seated in their vehicles, they are adorned with a picture showing two people in a car flailing their arms over their heads. This because known to the Odyssey folks as the "No Bad Dancing" warning. Expect to hear a lot of that when they get back.

Not too much else to tell really ... Like I said I want to leave something for the others to fill in !

    Hey, Iam-

    No Bad Dancing... =)

Posting from John's computer. So far everything Ian has said is true, except that part about me embarassing everyone else at the Hot Seat. It was abvious that I was just nervous about being there, I didn't mean to make us all look like freaks. Not as bad as your comment at Mexico Small World (as it will now be known.) Sorry you had to leave-not nearly as many bad jokes since you left.

Well that's all for now. We are all zonked out after an evening at the Magic Kingdom.

    and remember- No Bad Dancing!!

    Okay ... More answers ...

Janet ... I promise I'll never mention the WWTBAM thing again if you DO NOT post about the "fireworks incident" ! Or me almost falling out of the boat ...

We stayed at AKL this time, which was really beautiful. The only thing was it's pretty far from everything but AK, which is my least favorite park. I also thought the rooms were pretty small for a deluxe resort. Bottom line is I don't think I'd stay there again, but I'm glad I did it once. The animals outside the window were pretty amazing!

And there as no sign of Bamaboy by the time I had left. Also conspicuously absent was EpcotBoy. Not sure if they've shown up since.

In case those still in WDW check in again ... I miss you and wish I were there! Hope you all have fun and a very safe trip home!

(Oh and Janet .... No Bad Dancing right back at you! )

    Hey Iam,
I'm still alive after the incident on PoTC. Guess that reading of the last rites was a little premature.

ROTFL !! I forgot about this part ...

Okay so we're all riding PoTC and Rob and Amy are in the front seat with Janet, Ryan, and I behind them.

So we go down the hill and for some reason (I think because we were the only people in the boat and it was front-heavy) we got a real splash!

Rob turns around and looks at us and says, "Some went in my mouth!!" Of course we were all kidding him about it (for those of you who have seen the Duff World episode of the Simpsons you'll get the idea!) the whole rest of the ride.

Then we get to the end and he asks the CM working if it's a problem and the guy tells him he should get a tetnus shot!!

Apparently they only change the water every few years and, despite all the chlorine they load in there, it can still be dangerous!

Glad to hear you're alive and well, Rob !

    And thanks again !
