Does anyone know if you can purchase any shotglasses in walt disney world? I collect shot glasses and am planning a trip for december and wanted to plan ahead. Thanks
Oh boy can you ever!!! I collect shot glasses and I started my collection while at WDW - I came home with like 35 that first trip!! They're EVERYWHERE! And most of them are pretty cool!! You'll have no problems finding some that you like, I'm sure of it.
Oh, and where are my manners.... Welcome to Intercot, mrneon606!!!
I am going to move this over to the Disney Collectibles forum too, as we have more collectors that hang out there.
I also started my shotglass collection with a WDW shotglass! It was a clear 2000 Celebration etched glass - very nice! I bought it at the glassware store (can't recall the name) on Main Street.
YES YES YES. I bought some last trip; POTC 1 is a good 1. I also got 1 from Wilderness Lodge, Allstars, ROR,TOT, PI, House of Blues...also some at Orlando airport.

We also collect shot glasses, and last trip the Disney Outlet Store across from the Crossroads shopping center, past the church, had shot glasses....
They are fun to collect.
I think the ones I saw ranged in price from about $4 to as much as $8-10 (or even more if they're those giant ones!), depending on the glass. But the majority I would say are $4-6. A little higher than average.
Actually - despite what everyone has said so far, you CAN NOT purchase a shot glass anywhere on Walt Disney World property. Shot glasses do not fit in with the whole Disney image and the idea of a shot glass is too centered around alcoholic pleasures to be found in WDW.
Instead, we have toothpick holders that everyone just seems to use for other uses.
It's the truth!!!!!

I thought I was buying my brother a pilsner glass and a shooter (taller, more slender shot glass) from a shop on Main Street. When I finally looked at the receipt I realized I had purchased a "jumbo tumbler" and a "toothpick holder."
Good thing my brother will never know the difference.
