Waitlisted

Well ... my life was in turmoil at the 11 month mark .. and now i'm paying for it!

We're waitlisted for the first and last day of our trip ... (but booked at Wilderness Lodge villas so we've got a place to stay!) ...
Arriving 10/7 - WL
10/8 - 10/13 - BCV
10/14 - WL (need to call and confirm this in a few days as it's outside our window)

We were waitlisted for only one day on our last trip and it came thru .. fingers crossed that it works for us this time too .. if not, my DH will kill me! Well .. it's a good way to "visit" another resort.

For the obsessive planner that i am .. i don't have ANYTHING planned out yet! Normally i'd have my itinerary planned, know the type of tickets we're going to have, etc.

Good luck with the Waitlist. We will be at BCV October 5th - 15th. Maybe we will run into each other.

I was waitlisted a few years ago for BWV for October. About two weeks before we left the room became avaiable. So, it's a great possibility but you may not hear until the last minute. Good luck! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

I called today (just inside the 7 month window) and I too am waitlisted! I have never been able to snag BCV for a trip in October, but have not had any problems getting VWL; this time, I am booked at my 4th choice - SSR; and waitlisted for BCV, BWV and VWL - last year my wait list for VWL came through with plenty of time to spare, so I am keeping my fingers crossed! The good news is that we were able to book 5 nights at BCV in May!

I hope that we do not run into this problem. Our home is SSR so it looks hopeful not to be on a waitlist. I have to say when I have been on the waitlist, I am always happily delighted to end up at my home (1st choice). Looking forward to my nephew's 1st trip/1st b-day for Oct 14-19.

I just got the call that our waitlist for the last day of our vacation came through!

I'm rearranging the first two days of our vacation and we're going to stay at one of the Lowe's Universal hotels for our two Universal days .... so now i just have to do our ADR planning!

That's great... I have never waited terribly long for the couple of times we were put on the list. Good thing they are building more DVC rooms at AKL and the CR. Have a great time.
