    Default bunkbed room question

We are thinking of booking a room with bunkbeds either at the WL or AKL for our trip this summer. Since we've never stayed in one of these rooms before, can someone tell me if the top bunkbed has a railing on it? I assume it does for safety, but thought I'd better check! Thanks

We had a bunk bed room about 3 or 4 years ago at AKL, so my memory may be a bit fuzzy on this, but I'm pretty sure there was a rail on the top bunk.

Having the bunk beds is a great feature for the kids.

Yes, they have railings. Disney is all about safety.

We just returned from a stay in a bunk bed room at the Wilderness Lodge and yes, there is a railing on the top bunk. I believe there is also a "lock" or keyhole some way of putting it down and then up, maybe to make it easier to put a sleeping child into the upper bunk. But yes, there is a railing.

    1) Yes, there is a small railing on the top bunk.
    2) You can also request "bed rails" from housekeeping.
    3) These can be for the top or lower bunk.
    4) They are taller than the normal bunk rail.

As others have said, yes they have railings. It is great for each kid to have there own bed/space. Not just for sleeping, but to just chill out in "their" space for a while.
