Saturday, 10/14/17 Epcot day

Today pretty much began like yesterday except that my girls were now with me. We had a little extra time before the opening of Epcot, so I took the girls out for breakfast. Still we made to "rope drop" and I ran into Brad and Genna while waiting. Genna went to look for some merchandise she wanted and I lost Brad in the crowd. However, I spotted Dawn & Justin getting in line for Spaceship Earth so we joined them for a ride before heading over for the Meet at Soarin'. Our wait time was posted at 35 minutes. But it wasn't anywhere near that long. Afterwards the group gathered at Sunshine Seasons for some breakfast. We hung out but did not eat since we ate you earlier. Here I met another Intercotee John, for the first time. His wife, Melanie, who I met on Sunday is a cast member, it also turns out they recently moved to Fl from Pa, not too far away from our hometown. Someone mentioned about trying to get into a Behind The Seeds Tour, so all of those interested went to inquire. We settled on the 3 pm tour. Luckily both John and I inquired about the cast member discounts, so we were able to get that rate for the whole group.

Next we made a pit stop with Cindy and Katerina at Ice Station Cool, before my girls and I tried out the new green version of Mission Space: Although, I really miss Gary Sinise, I enjoyed the new version as did Hallie. Emily was determined not to like it because of the lack of Gary Sinise. She probably did like it but would not admit it. Then it was over to the Imagination pavilion where we took a ride with Figment before our unnecessary fastpass at the Pixar Short Film Festival. I'm glad they've included Piper now. However, our timing was off and we missed the meet at the Fountain of Nations. We arrived just as that was wrapping up and just in time to walk to the Gran Fiesta Tour meet. The crowds were now getting insane and the line for the ride stretched all the way up to the entrance of the Mexico pavilion itself. It was getting close to our tour time so everyone attending walked back to The Land. Once we checked in, they provided Hallie with a scavenger hunt that she could do during the tour. There was one question that had to be answered from each room that we entered. At the end of the tour, if she completed it, she would be given a prize. In the end it was a packet of seeds. The tour was fun and educational, and I was glad we had done something we've never done before. I would definitely recommend it. The next meet was at 5 at Gary's Column. I had really wanted to do this followed by the Canada meet, but had to miss it to meet up with Ron. Turns out DD#2 ended up needing a ride to her house from work as well, so we headed over to AK to get her. She works at Nemo and Dinosaur, so feel free to say hi if anyone happens to see Ashleigh from Bear Creek Pa. The Jellyrolls meet was this evening and although I was also really looking forward to this one, I was just too tired to go back out after going home. Next time I will make it a point!
