I agree. The pool at the Yacht and Beach Club is the best on property!

Make that three votes for Yacht and Beach Club. It's gotta be the best pool at Disney.

Just looking at water slides.... is Stormalong better? Been by it a couple times and it looks like a straight shot.

Boardwalk has the rollercoaster one that winds.

have yet to be on either, just curious.

I have also heard that Stormalong Bay is the best pool on property. We are going to try to stay at the Beach Club next year just to check it out!

Yacht and Beach club is what I have heard. But if you can't do a deluxe the moderates also have slides on their pools.

Here's another vote for the Yacht and Beach Club pool. With the current area, the sandy area, and the variety of activities, I'm sure you will all love this pool!

Yacht and Beach Club win best pool-- no contest. However, the Boardwalk does have a great slide. The pool at Port Orleans- Riverside is also very nice for moderates but only a minimal slide.

Both slides are very good. The BC/YC's slide at SAB is faster - by a lot! It starts out straight (inside/enclosed) and then winds around a few times before dumping you out into the pool.

BW's slide is set up like a roller coaster - very well done. It winds around much more than the BC's, but it's not as fast. The BW's pool area where the slide ends is much calmer than that of the BC's.

BW's pool is excellent, but my vote goes to SAB! YC/BC win hands down.

Other deluxes with good slides: Poly & GF. The WL's slide is fine as well.

Mods have some nice ones too: CSR and POFQ have some pretty good ones.

In terms of moderates, I love the Coronado Springs pool with the waterslide. The area is always clean (not sandy...as there is a sandy volleyball court nearby) and its a fun place to cool off!

YC BC has a great slide. POfq has a very cool serpeant slide. Its good for younger kids. POfq is a moderate resort.

I love pools and I was not very impressed with SAB and the slide was not very exciting for me. It was a little slow and to straight. The Boardwalk slide is fun but my favorite pool is the Volcano pool at the Polynesian. The only thing I liked better about SAB was the lazy river but it closed way too early and it was a little too crowded. If I had kids than I would hate SAB because trying to see all the pool was impossible. The slide at the Polynesian is as good as most water park slides and the zero entry right up to the beach with a direct view of the castle is the best for us. Also late night dips in the pool and watching the fireworks is one of our favorite things to do. SAB is a great pool but I would take the Volcano pool any day over SAB.
