Odd question as you pit two dinner shows against two character meals...

I went with HDDR in any case...

I chose the Crystal Palace. I love the breakfast buffet and the character interaction. It's also a plus being in the MK!

Just as was said above...I think it's very difficult to pit dinner shows against character breakfasts. I LOVE Hoop-De-Doo, but I also really love Crystal Palace. So, I cannot make the vote. I went to Chef Mickey's when I was little, so I really don't remember it. However, I think you would be great with any of those choices. Happy eating!!

I voted for Crystal Palace only because that's the only one I've been to. I do have ADR for Chef Mickey's and the Luau on my next trip.

Talking Haven't been but I picked the Luau

I picked the Luau because I haven't been and all the comments from the Intercot family suggests it is a great place for dinner.

I wouldn't go the Luau if it was free...

The Hoop Dee Doo is my most favorite meal at WDW...

I chose Chef Mickey's though there really isn't a comparison to the shows. We loved the Luau as well. Different atmosphere.

It's really hard to compare dinner shows to character buffets.
We enjoy all except the Luau.

Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace are good for any meal.
HDD is a great "event" dinner.

We have been to all 4 and it basically came down to deciding between Crtstal Palace and Chef Mickey's and I went with Chef Mickey's. Both Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace have a wide variety of foods to choose from, but it is the Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto that beats out the Winnie the Pooh Characters for me.

It's hard to compare character meals with dinner shows. I picked Chef Mickey's because it is 1TS on the DDP and we hardly ever miss it. However, we really enjoy the Luau also!

    Post pick

I picked Crystal Palace because I think for a buffet, it's not that bad.

I was not overly impressed with the Spirit of the Aloha Dinner, though it was fun to do it.

Hard to pick between these things not knowing if you are thinking about dinner, lunch or breakfast with the character meals

    But:

    1. HDD
    2. CP
    3. CM (as long as it is breakfast and not dinner )
    4. Luau (never done it, to be fair)
The only life I can think of that would be worse than being a special needs mom is not being one...

Of the four choices, we've only done the Luau and HDDR and we preferred HDDR ! Lots of fun and good food.

Hoop de Doo!!! It was a tuff choice too, because we LOVE Chef Mickeys too, but the entertainment threw it over the top for the Hoop de Doo Review!! I just loved the bear skin ahahaha!!! Free beer for the adults was also big!!
