My uncle passed away this morning

I wanted you guys to know that my uncle passed away.
My aunt called me this morning and said he passed on just awhile ago.

I got a phone call yestday to go see him he did not have long to live.
so we went and i got to say my see you laters.

He was in hospital for awhile then they had to move him to a home. so he can have the care he needed.
I want you guys to know.

Thank you guys so much.
I went to my aunts house today to be with family.
we found out we will have over 1 thousand people come to the funeral.
from all over the country family and his friends coming he is well known.
i lookd at all his war medals he has and photos.
and his plane he bought, he use to fly.
so today was not easy just was the 11 of us today. we wanted to be on our own before the people show up tomorrow.

but friends gave us food to eat so we could just sit and talk about things and what to do next.
My aunt told me that my uncle wanted me to be a pal barer, so i am kind of nervice but im honord to do it.
I will miss him.

Sounds like your Uncle was a well-liked and respected man.

I'm sure you and your family have lots of good memories of your Uncle, and will enjoy sharing stories of him. No doubt it will be rough knowing he's not around to share them with you, but he's there in spirit (and smiling, for sure). Celebrate his life - I'm sure that's what he would want!
