Does anyone know if they have started taking reservations for sleigh rides @ WL? We are going 2nd week in December. 99 more days!

You have to make your ressie for the Sleigh Rides 90 days in advance. I'll be making mine with you shortly...I'm also at 99 more days. Finally, in the double digits.

I think the number to call is 407.WDW.PLAY but I could be wrong. We did this last year when we were there the 1st week in December. They run from the front of the Wilderness lodge along a path that goes to Ft. Wilderness, but they do not go all the way. The ride is about 30 minutes and runs about $40. I believe what they do is deck out the carriages from FW with lights to make them look festive. You are allowed to bring drinks with you. It was nice to do once but I don't know that I'd do it again. Of course, if you have a snuggle bunny (I had my parents) you might feel differntly.

Back for the Christmas Holidays, this horsdrawn "sleigh" ride is a fun way to celebrate the season at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort.

Price: $35.00 (including tax)

Can accommodate 4 adults or 2 adults with 3 children ages 9 and under.

Offered from 12/1 thru 12/30/06. This 25 minute sleigh ride departs every 30 minutes from 5:30 - 9:30pm. (Note that on 12/24, the hours are 4:00 - 8:00pm)

They are typically offered until New years. That being said there have been years when they have not been offered.

I just called the 407-WDW-PLAY tonight and was told that they do not have the info yet for 2007. The CM told me that he thinks it will be 60 days out to make, since 90 days puts it at the end of Nov and they still do not know when they will be. He did tell me that they book up very quickly. They are trying to figure out hotels that will also offer this, so that they can expand it for the guests.

Well, my 90 days is finally here and I called to scheduale a sleigh ride @ WL and WDW isn't taking reservations for this yet? What's the deal? Does anyone know when they will be taking reservations?

Sounds like a CM from WDW-PLAY told the previous poster it may end up at a 60 day window this year. Did you get any updated information from whomever you spoke with today? If they're still unsure, my suggestion would be to call and check every couple of days. I know they do fill up quickly, so I wouldn't want to be the one waiting until the 60 day mark, only to find out that they opened the reservations line at 75 days.

And just to be sure you have the right date, 90 days from today 9/9/07, would be 12/8/07, so if you called yesterday, you would have been booking for a sleigh ride occurring on 12/7/07.

When I called today on my 89 day mark there was only one time left. But it was a good time since I have dinner at 6pm and the reservation was for 9pm so hopefully that gives us plenty of time.
