We have visited a few of the Deluxe resorts, but still always choose to stay at the POFQ. Looking at the number of people staying at the POP, can some one tell what is so special about that resort?

The CMs at Disney Dining are telling guests on the phone, they're pushing the date (again) for this restaurant to open sometime January 2008.

Hey everybody. So I can't go in Dec anymore, we have too many conflicts and have to push the honeymoon back to Sept 08. BUT we get to stay at WL since we will have many more months to pay for it! I was sad but an so happy that we will get to be at WL. I hope everyone has an amazing time and I can't wait for the trip reports. I'll just have to try to make it to Disneyland for a couple days after the wedding!

Sorry to hear about canceling your trip. Though, that's great news that you'll be celebrating your honeymoon at the WL!!! Don't worry, DH and I pushed our honeymoon date. We got married in June, but we decided to celebrate our honeymoon in November since it would be cheaper, the weather will be nicer, and less crowds. This will give you plenty of time to plan a wonderful honeymoon. I would start reading trip reports and learn from people's mistakes, take some of their advice, etc. and you can use that knowledge to plan a wonderful honeymoon.

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to add my newly scheduled trip to the list of December trips! My mom and I are headed to WDW for our annual shopping trip December 7-9th. We both live about 3 hours from WDW and it has become our new tradition to spend Friday night at MVMCP then shop around Orlando on Saturday. So we’ll also be attending MVMCP on the 7th! Yay!

We’ll be staying at Pop, so to answer the question above about the fascination with this resort, I would say that for us, a lot of it has to do with the price. But when it comes to picking Pop over the other values, we like it because the theme appeals to everyone, unlike some of the All-Star themes, and everything is new and clean. When we are making a quick trip like this, where the parks and resort are not the main focus, we like to stay at a Value, but if dining and the resort is the focus, we splurge for a deluxe.

The 4 + 1 Tour:

December 7 - 14, Pop Century
December 14 - 17, Yacht Club

MVMCP planned for December 11 (AP discount)

Only one ADR scheduled: CP dinner on 12/08. We have 3 finicky, light eaters, 1 who enjoys food and one 3.5 month old infant!

Tried to get LTT for 12/11 before MVMCP, but they weren't taking ADRs before 6 p.m. at the time. I may see if I can snag something before we leave home.
