Halloween movies
In the spirit of the day, I'd like to know what is everyone's favorite movie/show to watch on Halloween? Be it a scary movie, or a cute little cartoon, I'd like to know!
My favorite is Disney's "Legend of Sleepy Hollow" narrated by Bing Crosby. I have watched on Halloween for YEARS, and lost the VHS. I found it on DVD the other and bought it. I plan on watching it tonight!!
What about everyone else?

Unfortunately I will be working until 9pm, so when I get home I will be catching up on TiVo and checking out the Martha Stewart Halloween show. Yeah, super exciting and not very spooky.

Favorite Halloween Movie: It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. {This is hands-down my favorite although I start feeling sorry for Charlie Brown when he keeps getting rocks in his sack.)
Scariest Movie (Of All Time): The Exorcist

Me and Hayden watched It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown last night. I had forgotton about old "Ichy" I'll have to watch that tonight.

If you'd like something that will give you (adults only please) the heeby-jeebies without a bunch of blood & guts splattered all over the place, get hold of "The Changeling". It's a little dated (very 70's) but the story still works just fine.
I promise you'll never feel the same about a toy ball bouncing down a flight of stairs.
Then there's always Alfred Hitchcock (movies or TV show) or old Thriller or Night Gallery episodes.

I'm a bit of a "chicken", well, actually, I'm a huge chicken, so the scariest I can watch without getting nightmares for the rest of the year is "The Haunted Mansion", with Eddie Murphy, but my favorite is "The Tower of Terror", with Kirsten Dunst and Steve Guttenburg, because I love the TOT ride at MGM. (I always wanted to watch scarier movies, but I saw the HHN commercial 3 times, and had to have every light in the house on for a week when I went to bed)
I've been going to WDW since birth, and now I work there.

I was always a fan of the Friday the 13th series - at least up until the ones where Jason goes to Manhattan, Jason goes into outer space, etc. That was a little ridiculous.
Other faves are the original Amityville Horror, Dawn of the Dead, the first Halloween and basically anything by Stephen King.
I really like any scary movies from the early 80s and before - especially the 70s ones. Carrie, Ben, Salem's Lot - OH and one of my fave all time movies was actually a made for TV film called Midnight Offerings. I haven't seen that in years.
Of course, the classics too like The Birds, Psyco, Vertigo are great too. And yes, The Exorcist is probably the scariest movie of all time.

For some reason, when I think of Halloween movies, only one comes to mind:
Rocky Horror Picture Show.

My favorite would have to be Hocus Pocus with Bette Midler and Kathy Najimy. I just love the both of them, and they are even more hysterical together!
But I will be catching up on TV tonight - hopefully Heroes, Top Model, and Beauty and the Geek.

I love watching It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (Not Disney...I think it's Hallmark), and Ichabod Crane (Disney's Sleepy Hollow). Sadly, I didn't get to watch my favorite Legend of Sleepy Hollow at all this year. I feel pretty ripped off so I might watch my Halloween movies today and consider it an extension on my favorite holiday

I like the way you think!!
This past Saturday, I attended - for the first time - Rocky Horror at a theatre with other people. I had no idea I could have so much fun. Still picking rice and confetti out of my hair though!

My all time favorite is Hocus Pocus! And I like the Haunted Mansion and Tower of Terror. I didn't see at commercials for Tower of Terror this year. It's usually on Disney Channel the Saturday before Halloween.
I just have to say that DBf was a little scared and mad at me 'cause I had Polterguise on last night. That movie is sooo outdated. I finally turned it off since I was bored and put on Miss Congineality. It was the only non Halloween movie on last night.
