Default Help - leaving in 4 hours - been throwing up all night

Does anyone have any remedies for a bad belly? We get on the plane in 4 hours and I have been throwing up all night. I haven't slept a wink and we are suppose to go to MVMCP today. Will I be able to exchange my tickets - any suggestions at all?

Pepto Bismol usually works well. And, since you can't take liquids on the plane...they also sell it in chew tablet form.

As for MVMCP....you will not be able to exchange your tickets. When you get to WDW, take a nap in the afternoon. Even 2-3 hours should work wonders for getting you through the evening. Then, if you can, sleep in a bit tomorrow OR get up and hit the park at opening but then leave and take an afternoon nap before returning to the parks for the evening.

In August, I had a very early flight out of NYC and then I had the P&P Party that evening. I had only gotten 2 hours of sleep before the flight, but an afternoon nap allowed me to enjoy the full party.

I hope you feel better....and fast!

One of my friends in college used Emetrol.

You keep taking a tablespoon or two every 15 minutes (maximum 5 doses) until you stop vomitting.

I believe that you can get it at any drug store.

Good luck and have a great time.

After hours event tickets are non-refundable. Even if you were to cancel your trip, the tickets would be a loss.

When my mother in law was in chemo treatment she carried around a bag of peppermint and sometimes small dill pickles. She said that relieved a lot of her nausea and throwing up.

Now I keep peppermint around all the time.

Oh, that just makes me feel soooooo bad for you!

Along the peppermint line. My grandma used to take oil of peppermint, and rub a little under her nose. Sometimes, what you smell, and how your tummy feels are linked somehow.

DD has a horse with gastrintestional problems, and she gives him peppermints - he loves them.

    Good luck - REALLY !!!

A friend of mine uses peppermint oil for upset tummies by rubbing some on the tummy. She also uses some on a cotton ball, placed over the ear canal, for ear infections. It works wonders.

This is probably too late for the original poster but I was able to exchange my Mickey Very Merry Christmas Party tickets on one occasion. We were at Disney when I came down with a terrible head cold. I was going to drag myself to the party so the tickets wouldn't be wasted. My husband inquied at the concierge desk and the nice cast member there was able to exchange my tickets for another day. The day we exchanged them for was not my first choice but my first choice was on a sold out night. We were able to attend on a different evening simply by canceling one dining reservation. With a couple of intervening days, I felt much better and enjoyed myself!

Disney did not have to do this for us because, as stated, the tickets are non-refundable!
