Just Questions: Leaping Into Spring.

Page, Mittens is back to his complete self. Last night I was sleeping on the couch and he crawled up next to me and purred away. This morning he crawled into bed with me and curled himself around my head. I think the move was really good for him. He's doing more then just eating and sleeping with an occasional run. He's walking all over the house, spitting in the corners and not eating all the time. We use to have to feed him at least twice a day and so far it's just once, which is better for him.

Now I'm waiting on my jade plant to bounce back. He has been droping ever since we move him. Gilles knocked over the 2 big plants as he was driving them over here and the jade hasn't recovered yet. It looks like it's trying.

Carol, that's great news about Mittens - thanks for the report. If your new place is larger than the old, he has more room to roam and will get a little more exercise, at least for awhile, until he stakes out his favorite spots.

As for the jade - was the temperature cold outside when it was moved? The drooping could be a reaction to cold exposure. It should recover.

If Pogo won't send you any I'll GLADLY ship all of ours your way!!!

I grew up in TN - East Tennessee - Knoxville to be exact. (Hi Jym! ) We normally had roast lamb for Easter dinner. I never once ate, or was even offered, possum in the 31 years I lived there. (Although I did hear that it tastes like chicken.)

It was about 40 degrees or so, so maybe that is what it was.

Forget the life jacket for my car..I'll need pontoon floaties for sure... saw pics on our local news site and one is of a portion of a road that's just a hop skip and jump from my house. It's near the Kroger we shop at. I'd post the link but I think that's against Icot policy... Good morning -- I mean afternoon -- all!! Quick zoop in.... my, it's soggy out there, isn't it?? My girls looked a little droopy and damp when they got home....

If you can believe it, I'm still putting laundry away.... Pogo, I think you're right about the clothes -- minus this one female!! My girls have the biggest pile of everyone!! My contribution is actually quite small in comparison.

Back to work this evening -- it's going to be busy, based on the weather and what the census looked like before I left this morning. But - it's my last night 'til Monday, so that's good!!!

While I am at it, my question for the day is what has happened to some people's common sense?? We have had about 8 inches of rain in the last 24 hours like so many others have which means we have flooded roads galore. But yet what do I see not once, not twice, but three times in the last hour? You guessed it, people driving through water up to their door jambs!! Some people just don't know what common sense is!!

That would be a NO. But I do have plans....lets see, what were they again? Oh yah, we're eating Easter dinner at BOMA's! As DD told me this morning - only 4 more sleeps! She's still coughing and sniffing, but I think she's gonna live .
