Ok so DH just told me that this morning his antivirus software (AVG) found a trojan virus in the POTCO program. The problem is in ...Launcher1.exe Please be careful! Anyone else find this? Or is it just the Crash Queen yet again?!

I just scanned mine for virus and no threats detected. I'm at level 10 now and just got another quest and can't do it because i haven't gotten unlimited access yet.

Reason: forgot to add something
I have gotten a warning too. I just restored the files from the Virus Vault (might be named different in your antivirus program).
The warning in mine is picked up by something called Heuristics which is an antivirus programs way of trying to determine if a virus is present even if it's not in the virus definition folder. So basically there's something about the program that makes your antivirus program think it might be a new type of virus.
I turned off my heuristics (not recommended) and haven't seen the problem since. It's more of an annoyance at this point than an actual issue. I think PotCO actually had a message about it in their FAQ at one point.

For some reason since last Friday, we are having a lot of our POTC online friends having the same issue. Its the AVG software detecting something as a virus that's not. I run Norton AntiVirus and it hasn't found anything. I've been playing pirates for over a year with no issues. Its only seems to be the AVG people, and it started a few days ago.
People have been turning some feature off when they run pirates and then turn it back on when they are done (I believe it was something n the Heuristics).
