What type of budget are you looking at value, moderate, or deluxe? You should have nice choices at all.

And is "musical beds" an option for the kids (in other words, can the reservations be made for 2 adults/2 children in each room or does it have to be 2 adults/1 child in one room and 2 adults/3 children in the other?)
When are you planning to go and what type of budget have you guys discussed on spending for accomodations? With that being said there are a few limited resorts in the value and moderate range that accomodate 5. If you're looking at the values then adjoining rooms and having one of the 3 children stay in the 1 child room should work. Contact MJ and have them check out some prices for different resorts with the breakdown of the room cost and tickets for each person so you can split the cost between the families.

Sorry about not being specific.... heres the thing - the family of 5 wants to be on the low side of costs, us the family of 3 is considering the Beach Club - due to the fact that we have already been 4 times and the other family hasnt been before. Are there still family suites at one of the all stars that could accomodate the family of 5??? I havent seen much about these. My other thought is for all of us to stay at PO...thanks for all of your suggestions, they are really helping!

The all stars suites would be a great option as well as POR. Riverside can accomodate 2 adults and 3 children because it has a trundle bed that pulls out to sleep a fifth person. You could also request connecting rooms which might make the rooms feel a little bigger. Although they will not guarantee the room it is worth a try.

We had the same situation a couple of years ago - 2 families just like yours. We opted to stay at the POR in the Alligator Bayou. We did not have adjoining rooms but they were side-by-side right by the pool. When we got ready in the morning, we just went out and sat by the pool until the other family (of 5) was ready. Short walk to the bus stop and we were ready to enjoy the day. We had plenty of room in our room - even offered for one of their kids to stay with us but they didn't want to seperate the kids. POR is really nice and relaxing.
